  4401.  Every pharmacist who desires to retain his or her license on the books of the board shall biennially pay to the executive officer of the board the renewal fee, established by the board, within the limits prescribed by this chapter. In return for the payment of the renewal fee, a certificate of renewal shall be issued. (Amended by Stats. 1997, Ch. 549, Sec. 139. Effective January 1, 1998.)
