ARTICLE 4. Gifts of Land and Contributions [4701 - 4703] Â Â ( Article 4 added by Stats. 1965, Ch. 1144. )

  4701.  The director, upon the recommendation of the board, may accept on behalf of the state gifts of land suitable for forestry purposes or suitable for the purposes of reforestation or afforestation, and may receive contributions from any source for the purchase, or the care and maintenance, of such land. The recommendation of the board shall be made by resolution duly adopted at a regular meeting. (Repealed and added by Stats. 1965, Ch. 1144.)
