CHAPTER 5. Federal Aid for Secondary Highways [2200 - 2214] Â Â ( Chapter 5 added by Stats. 1953, Ch. 192. )

  2201.  Various federal-aid highway acts have authorized appropriations for various programs for projects on secondary roads within this state. The purpose of this chapter is to implement such programs in this state. The commission, the department, and boards of supervisors are authorized to do all things necessary in their jurisdictions to secure such federal funds in accordance with the intent of the federal law and of this chapter. (Repealed and added by Stats. 1979, Ch. 580. Inoperative on date prescribed in Section 2202. Repealed on January 1 after inoperative date, pursuant to Section 2202.)
