DIVISION 10. THE IMPROVEMENT BOND ACT OF 1915 [8500 - 8887]   ( Division 10 added by Stats. 1941, Ch. 79. )   PART 9. ASSESSMENT LIENS AND REASSESSMENTS [8700 - 8708]   ( Part 9 added by Stats. 1941, Ch. 79. )   8701.  Such assessments and reassessments and each installment thereof and the interest and penalties thereon shall constitute a lien against the lots and parcels of land on which they are made, until the same be paid, but for a period not exceeding the time within which an action might be brought on the last series of bonds issued upon the security of such unpaid assessments.
